Oh la la! …but it’s just another day on the job for Michael Cudlitz aka Detective John Cooper. The Hollywood Reporter visited the set of ‘Southland’ during their fourth season to snap some shots, they’ve published a gallery of the best and, oh boy, are they good. Check out David Strick’s behind-the-scene images and read about the publication’s efforts to document what they consider the strongest Emmy contenders for 2012.

We all know that TNT’s Southland is an AMAZING show but did you know that it’s also a life changing show for the players involved? Over the weekend the series was honored by Homeboy Industries at their 10th Annual Lo Maximo Awards for for its realistic portrayal of youth in gangs as well as its dedication to providing employment for at-risk youth both in front of and behind the camera. On hand to accept the Homeboy Media Award on behalf of Warner Bros. and John Wells Productions were series stars Michael Cudlitz, Shawn Hatosy, Regina King, Ben McKenzie and executive producer Christopher Chulack. What an honor, congrats to the show and everyone involved!
