‘Things aren’t looking too good for our boxing champ. Phone company has no record of her alleged phone calls to check on him. And like you said, the roaming signals do not match up to the time she said she was in the canyon, because the phone was off for 13 hours.’
‘Southland’ being awesome in gif form!
Tonight’s new episode is all about connections: John gets a new partner, Detective Lydia Adams reaches out to a former flame, and Ben finds romance on the job. We think there’s going to be an equal mix of yikes! and oh la la!
(Also, with a new baby and trying to keep the street of Los Angeles safe will Adams EVER get sleep?)
Who’s a BOSS both in front of and behind the scenes?
If you answered Regina King from ‘Southland’ give yourself a pat on the back!
The awesome King will be directing the March 13th episode of the series (her first!), and says of her co-stars, “Both Shawn Hatosy and Michael Cudlitz stayed after they wrapped and watched me shoot scenes they weren’t in. That really meant a lot to me.”
(So many warm fuzzy feelings)
We’ll see you tonight with a new episode Wednesdays 10/9c on TNT.
Seriously, WATCH. THIS. SHOW!
We all know that TNT’s Southland is an AMAZING show but did you know that it’s also a life changing show for the players involved?
Over the weekend the series was honored by Homeboy Industries at their 10th Annual Lo Maximo Awards for for its realistic portrayal of youth in gangs as well as its dedication to providing employment for at-risk youth both in front of and behind the camera.
On hand to accept the Homeboy Media Award on behalf of Warner Bros. and John Wells Productions were series stars Michael Cudlitz, Shawn Hatosy, Regina King, Ben McKenzie and executive producer Christopher Chulack.
What an honor, congrats to the show and everyone involved!
